I’ve uploaded two new YouTube clips that I just felt I had to share with you!
I sat in my apartment playing some guitar while my daughter Ella was playing around, so I recorded two songs and uploaded them to my YouTube channel!

On the 18th of June I played a gig at the street music festival Make Musik STHLM in Stockholm, Sweden. The gig went well after a few obstacles, two guards from the Swedish government didn’t want to let me play at first since the scene was situated outside the swedish parliament. After a long discussion they finally let me play when the festival organizers brought the permit. Then the weather wasn’t the best when I started to play but at least I finished my set before it started to rain heavy! Anyway, it felt nice to finally start to play my music live again, here’s video from the gig:
My next gig will be at the festival Hallå Åkersberga on the 31th of July! I don’t know the time for my set but I will update the gig section as soon as I know!
I’ve also done a radio interview for the radio station Radio Österåker which will air on the 29th of July at 20:00 (Swedish time). You can listen live to Radio Österåker on their website: radio.osteraker.se (the interview is in Swedish)
It’s been a long time since I gave out some music recommendation so it’s about time!
The Black Keys – Brothers (Spotify link)
The Black Keys new album is with out doubt one of the best albums I’ve heard in a long long time! They got their own kind of mix between soul, blues and rock. It’s also so nicely produced that I just want sit down in the studio and copy their style completely, I’m not gonna do that though, but definitely borrow some ideas! Especially to “Blues Beat” which I posted to my Soundcloud page awhile ago…

The Tallest Man On Earth – The Wild Hunt (Spotify Link)

Another excellent album recently released is The Wild Hunt by The Tallest Man On Earth who I’ve written about here before. This album sounds pretty much the same as the last one, but that’s not bad though, his songwriting and his voice is so strong it cuts straight in to your bones! Check it out!

As you can see I’ve started to change the look on my site, but I think you’ll find your way around as things are still in their usual places. It’s just the look that’s getting revamped. Let me know if you got any ideas, I’ll be doing some small fixes here and there as I discover where it’s needed…
The other day I found a bunch of old clips of me playing some of my songs on acoustic guitar. They’re about a year old but I thought it would be worth it to upload them to my YouTube channel, so I did!

I’ve found a new fun site called Thounds.
The nice thing about it is that they have an iPhone app, so if I come up with an idea I can just grab my phone and record the melody straight away and then people can start adding stuff like guitar riffs, bass lines, beats etc.!
That’s how great music is made!
Here’s my first “thound”, I sang a hook into my iPhone and in a couple of hours a dude from Spain called horriblito had added some really nice guitar riffs and backing vocals to it! You can also hear my daughter Ella, 6 months old, trying to sing along in the background…

It’s now over four months since I released Obedient Minds and I’ve decided to let it be free from now on! It will be available at my Bandcamp page as a “name your price” download where the minimum price is ZERO, but if you feel like you want to pay for it you can still do that of course!
I’m also working on a new EP which hopefully will be available this spring/summer, it will be a 4 – 5 track EP if I follow my plans…

I’m working on a new beat at the moment… trying to get it right and everything… Let me know what you think about it! and try to be creative now please!
I did the drum-loop in the beginning with Beatmaker on my iPhone, all sounds in the loop are stuff I recorded in my apartment like a book “flurp”, me banging on a door, keys, and all kinds of weird stuff. I also recorded some kind of beatbox thing which I put a phaser on. Then there’s some tweaked instruments from NI Kontakt and me playing the guitar.
I’m also trying to come up with some nice idea for lyrics…
